A piece of lettuce as a photographic negative and the magnification of magnification. The detail and the microscopic approaching the pupil. 



"From photosynthesis to photographic synthesis".

A.- Photosynthesis is the summary of light, its passage to mere energy. From that red and blue light that bounces off its textures, electrons remain that act as glue or synthesizers of chemicals captured by the plant to grow.

B.- The lettuce leaf is revealed in the transfer of negative charges by the light and the sum of chemicals from other media, thus we know it in its positive, the green leaf that we eat with lemon. But the act of inverting it, using it as a negative, in a photographic enlarger, seeks to remove the veils or penetrate its contours to wonder about the location of the soul. 

C.- Photography is a slight memory of form, an eternal yesterday. To turn photography into a tasty object is to flee forward, to embrace the monster of the lettuce, that is why the black box. The abyss is built as a pyramid, so the light curves and generates structural shadows that add difficulties to the understanding of the gesture. 

D.- The elective act does not take. To take is to stay with the light of things, however, the light always varies. The artist is constituted as a brave past, who measures, takes exposure times and regulates the intensity of light, to frustratedly try to reach a detail of the same thing, that which is subject to change, for five times. 

E.- The artist reveals himself, he found a mirror in the vegetable, in front and behind, the work and the text, which reveals Sofia, the slight memory of my form, our eternal yesterday.
